What’s been happening:

My youthful passions of photography and outdoor adventure were honed at Penn State working for The Daily Collegian newspaper and my degree in environmental science. I still hold the same passions but updated with digital technology and computer skills in web design and multimedia. My first photo published in The Collegian was run big on the front page, cute little piglets in the PSU barns nosing my camera. I found out that students in all the dorms posted it on their fridges. I have since worked for community newspapers, metro papers, magazines and stock photo agencies. Bicycle touring took me to Canada where I learned French and have lived over half of my 52 years. Married to Reverend Lynne Donovan, 3 children. We owned a 100-acre apple and maple syrup farm southwest of Montreal and placed a "Forever Wild" clause on the deed through the Nature Conservancy. I make frequent returns "home" to my parents' in Mars, PA. Middle age goals: stay fit, give back to the community, speak out for preserving forests and wildlife, and keep my kids off computer games.
